Mulberry Lodge is located in a small private development on the edge of the picturesque village of Kippford on the Solway Coast, which is designated as an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’. 

The village has several beaches, a marina, tea room, two pubs (both serving food). Within a short walk there is a 9 hole Golf Course with a licensed bar. There is also access to some of the region’s best walking trails nearby, mountain bikers are also well catered for in the region with the Dalbeattie Forest just minutes away and the renowned 7 Stanes cycle tracks are also easily on hand. There is also a good selection of other local golf courses including Colvend, the championship course at Southerness and the Dalbeattie course all within easy reach.

The closest town, Dalbeattie (five minute drive) offers restaurants/ takeaways, shops, local food stores and a health centre. The village of Rockcliffe and the beach at Sandyhills are also close to hand.
